Admiral Rollo Mainguy (left)
presents Prime Minister Louis St. Laurent with an suitably engraved ashtray
made from the casing of the first shell fired by HMCS Cayuga in Korea on
Aug 15, 1950. Cayuga's action marked the first time since 1945 that a ship
of the RCN fired its guns in anger. The source photo has some defects.
