Marv Duncan recalls the machine . "The KW-2 was a five-rotor machine that encrypted and decrypted 60 wpm teletype baudot code. It was a monster to keep alive I went to school on it at the Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, VA in 1959 and subsequently worked on several during the next two years. After transfering in 1961, I never saw one again".
