The Clipper I series of VHF FM radio units are intended for use as a shipborne installations to provide efficient and reliable communication between ship to ship or ship to shore over the wide band International Maritime Mobile Service channels. The Clipper I is designed for multi channel use, up to five separate channels being available. The frequency range Ship to Ship X-mit 156.3 to 156.8 MHz Receive 156.3 to 156.8 MHz. Public Correspondence x-mit 156.05 to 156.35 and 156.90 to 157.40 MHz. Receive  160.65 to 162.0. The transmitter output is 25 watts in the ship to ship band and not less than 20 watts in the public correspondence band.  This unit weighs approximately 15 lbs (inage via E-bay)
