CRYSTAL RECEIVER

This very early receiver (without any model designator) consists of three sliding contacts atop the induction coil to achieve station tuning in the 3000 metre band. Also mounted atop is a pressure- point crystal detector. This set was advertised in a Montreal newspaper in 1919 and was  also pictured in the 1922 Canadian Marconi catalog. The price for the set, without headphones or antenna was $13.50
