A view of the rebuilt foc'sle after the collision
with SS Yarmouth County. As a result of the accident, MICMAC's broken
keel couldn't support the weight of the 4.7 inch gun mountings so lighter
armament was substituted temporarily. The keel was not replaced until she
received the DDE upgrade and was the only Tribal that did not go to Korea.
