NOTES:1) Note 1 deleted .
2) This vessel was one of 18 Bangor Class Minesweepers that were to be refitted and sent to Korea. Their pendant and the call sign assigned for this deployment are listed here. It is not their previous pendant or call sign. Only two ships were commissioned and only as training vessels for a short period - HMCS KENTVILLE and HMCS MINAS.
3) Randy Lee <chummie(at)uniserve.com> who sailed aboard Yukon confirms that this ship used two different voice call signs.
4) Can anyone confirm if this ship used "Rippee River" as a voice call sign?
5) The call sign was CGAY from 1922 until 1934 as a training vessel. Call sign changed to CGBN in 1934. From 1939 to 1940 , she was a Gate Vessel and continued to use that call sign until she was sunk.
6) This ship retained her pre naval Canadian Merchant call sign.
