At the base of the  Masset Detachment sign, there is a small tombstone.  There was a reason for this. A while  ago, a small dog was left abandoned in the vicinity of the Masset Operations building.  Eventually, she found her way to the front door. She was taken in by the commissionaires,  fed and  looked after. She was named “|Poochie” by the personnel.  When Poochie passed away, she was buried below the Operations sign. If anyone can add to this please contact: jerry.proc@sympatico.ca  (Photo by Barry Bogart)

This abandoned satellite dish  is found on the Masset property, not far from the All Ranks Mess. Does anyone know what it was used for during its heyday? Contact: jerry.proc@sympatico.ca  . (Photo by Volodya Salmanov)
