Becoming a Skywide Radio Club member is a two step process. First, one must join the Mail List followed by the completion of a SARC application form. Instructions are listed below
 

1) MAIL LIST SUBSCRIPTION

To subscribe to the SARC mail list:

Send blank e-mail  to:
skywide+subscribe@groups.io
 

To Unsubscribe from the mail list.

Sent blank e-mail to:
skywide+unsubscribe@groups.io

To send an e-mail to the list,  use address: skywide@groups.io

Once enrolled, you will get a welcome message from the group server. After that, simply  post e-mail to: skywide@groups.io
Your very first e-mail to the group will be routed to the List Moderator  (Jerry Proc)  for approval.   After initial approval, subsequent  e-mails will be  sent directly to the group  without any moderation.

2) BECOMING A CLUB MEMBER

After becoming a mail list subscriber, please complete this registration form and submit it. Payment options are listed on the form. This will make you a club member.

To reiterate, signing up on Groups.io makes you a mail list member. It does not make you a club member. Paying the club membership fee makes you a full fledged club membe.
 

MEETINGS

Face-to-face meetings will be held at the Etobicoke Civic Center located at 399The West Mall in the Main Boardroom Coverage will also available on Microsoft Teams.

CLUB MEMBERSHIP FEES

So what do the club membership fees cover?
1) Insurance at the repeater site to protect the club from  property damage.
2) Insurance for club sanctioned activities such as Field Day or social gatherings.
3) Contingency funds to cover repeater hardware replacement in case it gets damaged by the elements.
4 )Annual fee for domain <skywide.ca>
5) Any service fees applied  to the club's bank account.
 
 
 

SKY NET

The SKY NET radio net convenes on repeater VE3SKY each Friday night at 20:30 hours.
