1951: This is Peter Taylor as a 4 year old  waving to the SIOUX  as she sails out of Esquimalt taking his father back to Korea for his second tour of duty.  Peter’s father, Paul Taylor, was the CO  for two tours in Korea. The Times Colonist featured this photo on the front page of an April 1951 edition of the newspaper. (Photo from the collection of Peter Taylor)

	The date for this photo is unconfirmed. It was obviously snapped during the summer (hence the summer whites) and appears to be in Esquimalt. As SIOUX was in theatre during the summers of 1951 and 1952,  the summer of 1950 is the best guess at this time. Click to enlarge.
