Various views of the TA12G transmitter. The RCAF designator for the TA12-G is 110D/820. This pristine example is part of the collection held by  David Lawrence, VA3ORP. (All photos in this table by JerrT PTroc)
The frequency coverage for the  TA-12D is:

Channel 1   1050 KHz to 1700 KHz
Channel 2   2000 KHz to 3400 KHz
Channel 3   3000 KHz to 4800 Khz
Channel 4   4370 KHz to 7000 KHz

TA-12 versions were known to go as high as 'G' designation.

A  great many of the TA-12's found in Canada were made under license by Northern Electric in Montreal during World War II. Northern also produced other Bendix equipment such as MN-26 and RA-10 DF/communication receivers. A common (but incorrect) belief is that all Lancaster and Mosquito bombers had the R-1155 and  T-1154 setup when in actual fact the ones built in Canada for the RCAF were equipped with Bendix  or Northern Electric gear.

There was one conversion article published for the TA-12 and that can be found in Volume 2 of the Editors & Engineers surplus conversion manual series.
