Type: VHF, FM, solid state,  radiotelephone.

Frequency range:  Tx 156-162 MHz, Rx 156-163 MHz
Channels: The operator can select any of 12 channels.
Channel spacing: 50 KHZ with the capability of being converted to 25 KHz once new regulations came into force on Jan 1, 1972
Duplex: Supports simplex, semi-duplex or duplex operation.
Construction: The Corvette consists of two separate units - a control unit and a transceiver. 

Receiver: Double conversion.
Dimensions: 9 in W x 3.9 n H x 12 in  D
Weight: 10.6 pounds
Mains power: 6, 12,  24 ,110  or 220 VDC. (with converter). Also available are converters for 110 or 230 volts AC 50/60 Hz
Comments:
1) Permits the monitoring of marine channel 16 while passing traffic on another channel.
2) A 16 channel version of the Corvette 20S is also available by adding 4 more channels to the existing bank of 12.
