"SALVARE 2"  LIFEBOAT RADIO
 
 Issue 131 of the Marconi Mariner News, (May/June 1969)  says that SALVARE 2 was installed on the vessel Freeport 1. Mention of SALVARE 2 begins to appear in  Marconi Mariner News in 1969.  Royal Fleet Auxiliary ship.were fitted with SALVARE 2.  That's the only information that is available at this time.
