AN/SIH-502 Amplifier Control Group (Public Address System) 

Jib Brewer, who served in HMCS Chaudiere, recalls that this system was installed on his ship. There were several different circuits and one amplifier per circuit. On the upper deck, there was one circuit  for the Officers section. There were only a couple of standard microphone locations and they had switches for each circuit".
