HMCS Cayuga was a Tribal class destroyer, commissioned in October 1947. Wearing pennant R04, then 218 she served a total of three tours of Korea, the last in 1954 after the conflict ended. She was paid off in February 1964.
This page has been developed and is maintained by Jerry Proc and is dedicated to all those men who served in HMCS Cayuga R04/DDE218. Former shipmates are encouraged to show honour to their ship by writing something of their service for inclusion in this web page. The beautiful colour photo of the ship is a DND photo and submitted by the late Don Bjorndahl a Cayuga veteran. I would also like to extend my appreciation to Don for making available most of the photos and other material featured in this web page and providing the inspiration for its development.Last Updated: Jan 2019
